At MHM Psychology we support adults with psychosocial difficulties who may be eligible for funding through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIS provides funding to eligible participants with disabilities to help them with greater engagement with their family, friends, and in their community. Around 650,000 people are currently accessing services through the NDIS.
Our experienced NDIS Psychologist supports self-managed and provider-managed NDIS participants. We support NDIS participants with a range of presenting concerns including:
Appointments can be booked by calling 1300 848 072, you can send us an email, or NDIS appointments can be booked online by clicking here. For eligible NDIS participants, there is no cost to you for your appointments. We use the NDIS price guide to determine NDIS appointments costs.
The goal of your NDIS Psychologist is to enhance your well-being, improve your functional capacity, and to help you to live the life you want to live. An NDIS Psychologist will provide personalised NDIS counselling to support you with your needs. NDIS Psychology is accessible in-person, over the telephone, or over Zoom.
The NDIS may fund your psychology appointments for mental health conditions where the disability support focusses on a person's functional ability, that is, where the support results in greater involvement in activities of daily living. This may include:
At MHM Psychology all clients are provided with a safe, open, and supportive environment to explore the difficulties you’re facing in your life, and to help you to reach your goals. We strive to make meaningful change in your life, and we use psychological techniques that are supported by psychological research.
